Bombay special spicy Pav-Bhaji


Ingredients:For Bhaji
1kg Potato (boiled and mashed)
250gm Cauliflower (chopped and boiled)
2 Finely chopped Onions
750gm Finely chopped Tomatos
2 big Capsicum chopped
100gm Green peas (boiled)
Ginger 1 piece , Green chilies 7-8 and 1 small Garlic
2tbs Pav bhaji masala
Amul butter/any other salted butter, oil
salt , Lemon juice , both according to taste
2 tsp Red chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Chopped Coriander for garnishing , pav

Method: For Bhaji
Heat butter and oil in pan and add Ginger, chili & garlic paste.
fry it for few min until it be brown.
Add Capsicum and chopped onions and Tomato.
fry until transparent and saute over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Reduce heat, then add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder , mixed vegetables and potatoes. Add salt and two thirds of butter.
Increase the heat and stir well.
Sprinkle pavbhaji masala, coriander leaves, lemon juice and remove from heat.
Garnish with remaining chopped onions and amul butter.

Apply the remaining butter on the bun-halves, place them on a pre-heated frying pan. Saute until golden brown on both sides. Serve with the bhaji and a lemon wedge.
