JUST ENJOY..

Just Enjoy!!

A wife was making fried eggs for her husband for breakfast. Suddenly her husband burst into the kitchen.

"Careful... Careful!!! Put in some more butter! Oh my God! You're cooking too many at once. Too many! Turn them! Turn them now! We need more butter. Oh my God! Where are we going to get more butter? They're going to stick! Careful... Careful!!! I said be careful! You never listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you crazy? Have you lost your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the salt. Use the salt! The salt!"

The wife stared at him and asked, "What the heck is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?"

The husband calmly replied, "I wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving with you in the car."

BEST FRIEND....

Just Friends VS.Best Friends

A Just Friend says..hi,..hello,..bye,...and walks away...
A Best friend always stop by your side & asks how r u doing ??

A Just Friend has never seen you cry.
A Best friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.

A Just Friend thinks the friendship is over, when you have an argument.
A Best friend knows that it's not a friendship, until after you've had a fight.

A Just Friend hates it when you call, after he has gone to bed.
A Best friend asks you.... why you took so long to call.

A Just Friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A Best friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.

A Just Friend jealous about your romantic history.
A Best friend wonders of your love story.....

A Just Friend expects you to be always there for any help.
A Best friend is always there, wherever you require any help.

A Just Friend doesn't have time in his/her busy schedule,
A Best friend always have time for you in his/her busy schedules....

A Just Friend phones you whenever he/she has some work,
A Best friend calls you often just to hear your voice.....

A Just Friend doesnt have anything to talk to you on phone,
A Best friend doesnt know...what all to finish.....

MY SHLOK

When I held you in my arms for the first time,
my eyes were filled with tears.

When you took your first step,
I marvelled at your little feet.

When you spoke your first words,
all I heard was happiness.

When I took you to school on the first day,
I felt the pangs of seperation for the first time.

When you topped your class in college,
I beamed with pride.

When you bought me a gift with your first pay-check,
I treasured it in my heart.

When I gave you away in marriage,
I was elated that you were ready to create your own nest
although I felt you would be seperated from me for long.

just fun

Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends.
You order what you want then, when you see what the other person has,
you wish you had ordered that.

Man: Is there any way for long life?
Dr: Get married.
Man: Will it help?
Dr: No, but the thought of long life will never come.

Why do couples hold hands during their wedding?
It's a formality just like two boxers shaking hands before the fight begins!

Wife: Darling today is our anniversary, what should we do?
Husband: Let us stand in silence for 2 minutes.

It's funny when people discuss Love Marriage vs Arranged.
It's like asking someone, if suicide is better or being murdered.

It is difficult to understand GOD. He makes such beautiful things as
women and then he turns them into Wives.

If u r married please ignore this msg,
for everyone else: Happy Independence Day

Before marriage, a man will lie awake all night thinking about something you say.
After marriage, he'll fall asleep before you finish.

There's a way of transferring funds that is even faster than electronic banking.
It's called marriage.

Girlfriends r like chocolates, taste good anytime.
Lovers r like PIZZAS, Hot n spicy, eaten frequently.
Husbands r like Dal RICE, eaten when there's no choice.

Man receives telegram: Wife dead-should be buried or cremated?
Man: Don't take any chances. Burn the body and bury the ash.

Prospective husband: Do you have a book called 'Man, The Master of Women'?
Salesgirl: The fiction department is on the other side, sir.

There was this guy who told his woman that he loved her so much that he
would go through hell for her.
They got married and now he is going thru hell.

Fact of life: One woman brings you into this world crying &
the other ensures you continue to do so for the rest of your life!

Q: Why doesn't law permit a man to marry a second woman?
A: Because as per law you cannot be punished twice for the same offence!

AKELAPAN KI ZINDGI....

Zindagi me log aate hain
Do kadam saath chalte hain
Haath milate hain, gale milte hain
Aur phir chale jaate hain

Chalte jane ka muskuraate hue, ghosla banate armaano ka
Zindagi naam hai, maut ke hathon sab har kar bhi jeet jaane ka!

BAS AB BAHUT HO CHUKA

Bass ab bahut ho chuka
Ab isse jyaada main seh nahin sakti
Aao aamne saamne baithkarr hisaab karr le
Jo aaj tak ek doosre ko diya hai woh waapis lele

Maine kharcha hai aaj tak jo
Woh sab lauta do mujhe
Woh lamhe intezaar ke...
Woh ummeedon se bhare khayal...
Woh sapno ka ghar...
Woh chaandni raatein...
Lauta do sab kuch...
Woh adhuri chahat ... woh mulaaqaatein

Le jaao apna saamaan
Woh gam woh adhure armaan
Woh naakaam muhobbat...
Woh ankahe jazbaat...
Woh toote sapne saare...
Woh anchalke aansoo...
Le jaao sab kuch...
Maine bahut saha hai...
Ab tum saho kuch

Bass tumhari ek cheez apne paas rakh rahi hoon
"Tumhari yaadein"
Jo tumse bahut acchi hain...
Chaho to uske badle tum mera dil rakh lo
Jismein aaj bhi tumhare liye muhobbat basi hai

Bahut diya hai tumne ek muhobbat ke siwa
Aur main...
Main Naakaam muhobbat
Aur adhure sapno ke alaawa kuch de naa saki
Mujhe maaf karr do.

PARENT

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.
The Father asked his Son, “What is this?”
The Son replied “It is a crow”.
After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, “What is this?”
The Son said “Father, I have just now told you “It’s a crow”.
After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time,
What is this?”
At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son’s tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. “It’s a crow, a crow”.
A little after, the Father again asked his Son t he 4th time, “What is this?”
This time the Son shouted at his Father, “Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ‘IT IS A CROW’. Are you not able to understand this?”
A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-
“Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child”.
While the little child asked him 23 times “What is this”, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.
So..
If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your parents. From today say this aloud, “I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.
They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today”.
Say a prayer to God, “I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.

Heart Attacks and drinking Warm Water

Heart Attacks and drinking Warm Water
This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot green tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and may lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks -
You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.

A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this & Send the link to a friend. It could save a life. So, please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

aaj ke liye

Nasha...

subah ek alsai si, shaam bhi ek alsai si
har waqat rahta hai ek ajib sa nasha..
gawara na hota mere khyalo ki duniya me har kisi ka aana
har par dil chahta hai hia ki sirf usika aana aur phir na kabhi jana..
rahti hu apni hi duniya me gum si
rahti hu uske sath hi khoi si
har waqat rahta hai ek ajib sa khumar
kya ye hi woh jise kahte hai pyar....

Aaj ke sawal

Mark Twain.

If there is one place on the face of earth where all dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, it is India .

Happy Independence Day.....Jai Hind...

The History ...
As the Freedom Dawns...India Independence Day - August 15 - Swatantrata Divas Independence Day Also called Swatantrata Divas (Hindi)Observed by Indians Type National Date August 15 The countdown had started much earlier. It was on February 26, 1947, when the British Government made an important announcement of policy. It declared, its intention to quit India by June, 1948, and appointed Lord Mountbatten Viceroy of India to arrange for the transfer of authority from British to Indian hands. This momentous declaration had already evoked hearty enthusiasm all over India. Mountbatten assumed office on 24th March, 1947, and on 3rd June broadcast the famous declaration laying down the method by which the power will be transferred. So, the groundwork was already done. It was only an waiting for the formal announcement. As the midnight approached on August 14, 1947, the whole nation had geared up to greet the glorious moment of their nation's history. And with the last stroke of midnight the waiting was over. India put her first step out of the 300 years of British colonial rule as an Independent nation. The pangs of heavy losses was there, though . For, the much-sought- after-freedom had come after so many sacrifices and loss of lives that it left a deep scar on the soul of the nation. Yet, indeed, it was a moment of celebration for all Indians.A special session of the Constituent Assembly was held in New Delhi on the 14-15 August, 1947.The 'Independence meeting' began at the Council Chamber of Parliament building in New Delhi at 11 p.m. on August 14th, 1947. The session was chaired by the President of the Constituent Assembly, Dr Rajendra Prasad. The opening song, ' Vande Mataram', was sung by Mrs Sucheta Kripalani at 11.05 p.m.Jawaharlal Nehru moved the resolution on behalf of the Congress, seconded by Chaudhuri Khaliq-uz-Ziman, leader of the Muslim League Party. It was resolved that "After the last stroke of midnight, all members of the Constituent Assembly" dedicate themselves "to the service of India and he people."Finally, the resolution was moved to take the Oath of the Dedication. The text of the ran:- " At this solemn moment when the people of India, by their suffering and sacrifice have secured freedom and become martyrs of their destiny I .........., a member of Constituent Assembly of India, do dedicate myself to the service of India and her people to the end that this ancient land attain its rightful and honoured place in the world and make its full willing contribution to the promotion of the world peace and welfare of mankind." All the members took the oath standing. The resolution was carried out unanimously. This was followed by the historic speech of Mr. Nehru , the first prime minister of Independent India. It solemnly declared the Independence and the continuance of India as a part of the British Commonwealth. Lord Mountbatten was appointed as the first Governor General of new Indian Dominion. As the 15th dawned on the subcontinent, India woke up to freedom. A red letter day was born for the nation. It was time to celebrate. To celebrate the triumph of numerous martyred souls. Indeed, it was a day of fulfillment, the day of a new beginning, a birth of a sovereign nation. The dawn of Independence day began at 8:30 a.m, with the swearing in ceremony at the Viceregal Lodge (now known as the Rashtrapati Bhawan). The new Government was sworn in the central hall (now Durbar Hall). Two large size National Flags along with the Governor General's flag in deep blue with the Star of India were majestically hung in the backdrop on the wall of the hall facing the distinguished gathering. The Tricolor proudly went up for the first time against a free sky of Independent India on the flag mast of the Council House at 10:30 a.m. . The first Prime Minister of the India unfurled the tricolor against a clear warm sky, symbolically marking the end of the British colonial rule. And a new journey had began.
The Flag [Tiranga]
Born on July 22, 1947 in the Constituent Assembly on the eve of the Independence, the Indian national Flag is a horizontal tricolor. When the adhoc Committee on the Flag adopted it as the National Flag of free India, Jawaharlal Nehru made a memorable speech and concluded saying :"...this flag that I have the honour to present to you is... a flag of freedom, not only for ourselves, but to all people, who may see it.."A band of deep saffron is at the top, white in middle, and dark green is at the bottom. The three bands of colors are in equal proportions. While in the center of the white band is a wheel in navy blue. This wheel is an adaptation from the sculpted wheel, called Chakra, the wheel of law, appearing on the abacus of Sarnath Capital of Asoka, the ancient Indian emperor. It has 24 spokes and the diameter approximates the width of the white band. With all these things the width and length of the Tricolor is supposed to be in the proportion of 2 to 3.The design of the Tricolor has been adopted by the constitutional Assembly of India on 22nd July, 1947. The flag was designed as a symbol of freedom. Its use and display are, however, regulated by a code.

Saffron WhiteGreen Significance of the Tricolor:

Each of the three colors in our Tricolor has a special significance. The saffron stands for courage, sacrifice and the spirit of renunciation. The white, is meant for purity and truth. While the green is for faith and fertility. The navy blue wheel in the center of the white band signifies which denotes continual progress of the country and its blue wheel signifies the continuity of the nation's progress which is deemed to be as boundless as the blue sky above and as fathomless as the deep blue sea that keeps its hands and feet washed. The Emblem of India

The state emblem of India is an adaptation from the Lion Capital of Asoka at Sarnath , near Benares in the north Indian province of Uttar Pradesh. It features 3 lions and the 4th being hidden from the view. The wheel appears in relief in the center of the abacus with a bull on the right and a horse on the left and the outlines of the other wheels on the extreme right and left. Inscribed below the abacus in Devnagari script is:
"Satyameva Jayate", meaning, 'Truth Alone Triumphs'.
This is a quote from Mundaka Upanishad, the concluding part of the Vedas. The four lions (the 4th being hidden from view) - symbolize power, courage and confidence rest on a circular abacus. The abacus is girded by four smaller animals - guardians of the four directions: the lion of the north, the elephant of the east, the horse of the south and the bull of the west. The abacus rests on a lotus in full bloom, exemplifying the fountainhead of life.
The Anthem of India

The Constituent Assembly adopted the Indian national anthem from a song writtenand composed by the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore on January 24, 1950.Before this Vande Mataram written by Bankim Chandra Chattapadhyawas the National Anthem of India.Later Constituent Assembly of India,( Vol.XII, 24-1-1950) opined:"The composition consisting of words and music known as Janaganamanais the National Anthem of India, subject to such alterationsas the Government may authorise as occasion arises, ..."
Only the first of the five stanzas was designated as the anthem. The anthem goes:Jaana Gaana Maana Adhinayaka JayeheBharata bhagya vidhata;Punjaba Sindhu Gujarata Maratha,Dravida Utkala Banga,Vindhya, Himachala, Jamuna, Ganga,Ucchhala Jaladhitaranga;Taba Shubha Naame JaageTaba Shubha Ashish MaageGaye taba jaya gaatha.Jaana Gaana Maana Adhinayaka JayaheBharata bhagya vidhata;Jaya he Jaye heJaya Jaya Jaya Jaya he.

------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -
The English rendition of the song goes like this:
Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people,Dispenser of India's destiny.Thy name rouses the hearts of the Punjab,Sind, Gujarat, and Maratha,Of the Dravid, and Orissa and Bengal. It echoes in the hills of Vindhyas and,Himalayas, mingles in the music of theJamuna and the Ganges and is chanted bythe waves of the Indian sea.The pray for the blessings, and sing by the praise,The saving of all peoplewaits in thy hand.Thou dispenser of India's destiny,Victory, victory, victory to thee.

The Symbols of India -

National Emblem The national emblem comes from the Sarnath Lion Capital of Emperor Ashoka. Ashoka ruled the land from 272 BCE to 232 BCE. The original sculpture shows four lions on a pillar with an elephant, horse, bull, and lion separated by a lotus on the base. A Dharma Chakra (wheel of law) is also carved into the stone. The emblem was adopted on January 26, 1950 by the Indian Government. The official symbol now shows three of the four lions with the Dharma Chakra in the center of the base and a bull and horse on either side. The base is also engraved with the phrase "Satyameva Jayate" in the Devanagari script of India. This simple phrase represents a powerful idea for the Indian people: "Truth alone triumphs". National Animal Tiger (Panthera Tigris, Linnaeus) is the national animal of India. Tiger is also known as the lord of Jungles. The tiger is symbolic of India's wildlife wealth. The rare combination of grace, strength, agility and enormous power has earned the tiger great respect and high esteem. India is home to nearly half of the total population of tigers. National Bird The Peacock, Pavo cristatus (Linnaeus), is the national bird of India. The peacock symbolises qualities like beauty, grace, pride and mysticism. Peacock is a colourful, swan-sized bird, with a fan-shaped crest of feathers, a white patch under the eye and a long, slender neck. The male of the species is more colourful than the female, with a glistening blue breast and neck and a spectacular bronze-green train of around 200 elongated feathers they spead out in display at the onset of the monsoons. The female is brownish in color, slightly smaller than the male, and lacks the train. Peacocks have a harsh voice, which is a stark contrast to their beauty. The elaborate courtship dance of the male, fanning out the tail and preening its feathers is a beautiful sight.Peacock is the sacred bird of the India, protected not only by the religious sentiment but also by parliamentary statute.National Calendar of IndiaThe national calendar of India is based on the Saka Era with Chaitra as the first month and a normal year of 365 days. The national calendar of India was adopted on March 22nd 1957. Dates of the Indian national calendar have a permanent correspondence with the Gregorian calendar dates- 1 Chaitra normally falls on 22 March and on 21 March in leap year. The national Calendar of India is used along with the Gregorian calendar for the following official purposes- (i) Gazette of India, (ii) news broadcast by All India Radio, (iii) calendars issued by the Government of India and (iv) Government communications addressed to the members of the public. The Indian TricolourThe Indian flag is rectangular in shape and is made up of three horizontal breadths of Saffron, White and Green. The Saffron stands for courage nad sacrifice, White for purity and Green for fertility. There is a wheel with 24 spokes in the middle of the white coloured portion of the flag. The wheel represents the Dharma Chakra.National FlowerLotus (Nelumbo Nucifera) is the National Flower of India. On the virtue of being a sacred flower, it occupies a unique position in the art and mythology of ancient India and has been an auspicious symbol of Indian culture since time immemorial. The Lotus symbolises divinity, fertility, wealth, knowledge and enlightenment. The flower grows in murky waters and rises on a long stalk above the surface to bloom. It represents long life, honor, and good fortune.Lotus is also symbolic of the purity of heart and mind. The lotus holds additional significance for Hindus, as it is a symbol of God and used often in religious practices. According to the popular Indian thought, there is the last and final lotus - Charan Kamal or lotus feet of the Almighty. It was this depth of thought that made the founding fathers of modern India enshrine the lotus in the Constitution as the National Flower. National Fruit of IndiaMango (Mangifera Indica) is the National fruit of India. In India, mango is cultivated almost in all parts, except the hilly areas. Mango is a rich source of Vitamins A, C and D. In India, we have hundreds of varieties of mangoes. They are of different sizes, shapes and colors. Even in our mythology and history there are stories of mangoes- the famous Indian poet Kalidasa sang its praise. Alexander the great, along with Hieun Tsang savored the taste of mangoes. The great Mughal king, Akbar is said to have planted over 100,000 mango trees in Darbhanga (modern Bihar). The mango is eaten ripe and is also used to make pickles. The National Tree of IndiaThe National tree of India is the banyan. This huge tree towers over its neighbors and has the widest reaching roots of all known trees, easily covering several acres. It sends off new shoots from its roots, so that one tree is really a tangle of branches, roots, and trunks. The banyan tree regenerates and beats all other tree in its longevity. It is thought to be the immortal tree. Its size and leafy shelter are valued in India as a place of rest and reflection, not to mention protection from the hot sun! India has a long history of honoring this tree; it figures prominently in many of the oldest stories of the nation.National Game of IndiaHockey, which has been played in India ince time immemorial, is the National Game of India. There was a golden period of Indian hockey when hockey stalwarts of India ruled the game. On the international scenario there were no competitors to match the magic of Indian hockey players. The unmatched excellence and incomparable talent of Indian players became folklore. The ball-juggling feats of players like Major Dhyanchand made people think that Indian players used some underhand means. The Golden Era of hockey in India was the period from 1928 - 1956 when India won 6 successive gold medals in the Olympic Games. Facts of India -

To All Married Couples and Singles Who Intend To Get Married * *
When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know whatI was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away thechopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping . I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer ; she had lost my heart to a lovely girl called Dew. I didn't love herany more. I just pitied her! With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated thatshe could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. **She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spentten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had saidfor I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind ofrelease. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now. **The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something atthe table . I did'nt have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew. **When I woke up , she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
**In the morning she presented her divorce conditions : she didn't wantany thing from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a lifeas possible. Her reasons were simple :
our son had his exams in a months time and she did'nt want to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me torecall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request. I told Dew about my wife s divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies , she has to face the divorce , she said scornfully. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us , daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sittingroom, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. Inodded, feeling some what upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office. On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on mychest... I could smell the fragrance of her dress . I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realised she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Ourmarriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her. On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry heras the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresse shave grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me; she had buried so much pain and bitterness in herheart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essentialpart of his life.
My wife gesture to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softlyand naturally. I held her body tightly ; it was just like our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held herin my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacke dintimacy.
Its worth it: lackedintimacy.
I drove to office... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind... I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished. Then touched my forehead. Do you have afever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won'tdivorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realise that since I carried her into my home on our wedding dayI am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote: I'll carry you out every morning until deaths do us apart. The small details of our lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank,blah...blah...blah. These create an environment conducive for happinessbut cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse'sfriend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy.
Do have a real happy marriage! If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you, but if you do, you just might save a marriage.*

Every Woman is Beautiful

Every Woman is Beautiful
"Why are you crying?"
he asked his mom."Because I'm a woman"
she told him."I don't understand," he said.
His mom just hugged him and said ,"And you never will"..........
Later the little boy asked his father,
"Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason" was all his dad could say........
The little boy grew up and became a man , still wondering
why women cry. Finally he put in a call to GOD ;
when GOD got on the phone , the man said,
"GOD, why do women cry so easily?"
GOD said......."When I made women she had to
be special . I made her shoulders strong enough tocarry
the weight of the world ; yet, gentle enough to give comfort....
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the
rejection that many times comes from her children......
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when
everyone else gives up and take care of her family through
sickness and fatigue without complaining......
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any
and all circumstances , even when her child has hurt them
very badly.......This same sensitivity helps her make a child's
boo-boo feel better and shares in their teenagers anxieties and fears.......
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned
her fromhis rib to protect his heart......
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife,
but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly......
I gave her a tear to shed , It's hers exclusivelyto use whenever it is needed.
It's her only weakness.... It's a tear for mankind.........
"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure that she carries , or the way she combs her hair…
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes ,
because that is the doorway to her heart , the place where love resides .
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole ,
but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul . It is the caring that she lovingly gives ,
The passion that she shows and the beauty of a woman withpassing years only grows!

3 Ways to Handle Anger Before Anger Handles You;

"Feelings are much like waves. We can't stop them from coming, but we can choose which one to surf." -Jonatan MÃ¥rtensson
In the Western world, we think of strength as big muscles, heavy weights, physical power. But in the ancient Eastern cultures, strength means something entirely different. The yogis think of strength more as an ability to overcome powerful emotions such as anger and jealousy.
In the heat of the moment, a normal person (myself included) will want to lash out. In her song "White Trash Deco," country singer Cynthia Ford catches her husband cheating and responds with anger and jealousy by maxing out his credit cards to misdecorate his house. The words go like this:So don't write any checks cuz they'll just bounce backDon't use the credit cards cuz they're all at the maxBut don't worry, babe, I spent it all on youTo go along with all the cute little things you doOh, I've wanted so long just to wring your neck, ohInstead I redid your house in White Trash Deco
Is this the best way to respond to anger? Probably not. Can most of us relate to it? Hell, yeah! But if we cultivate the rare ability to overcome powerful emotions, we make better decisions. So much of life comes down to the decisions we make in intense, pivotal moments.
Here are some tips on dealing with anger so you can walk proud on your finest path through life:
1. Remember that anger and love are two sides of the same coin;
If you really want love in your life, you must be willing to spend a little time with love's less comfortable relatives, anger and pain. It's common to think that with anger and pain come breakup and divorce. But the bottom line is the more you love someone, the more able they are to piss you off. So be aware: Anger and intense emotion are normal when you truly love and care. Mel McDaniel sings about this two-sided coin in "Anger and Tears":
Anger and tears, anger and tearsIs that all that's left of us after loving all these yearsAs slowly as love grows how soon it disappearsIn a house full of anger and a heart full of tears
Remember, true strength is being able to work through the anger rather than letting the anger work through you.
2. Before you lash out, look within;
When you're struggling with anger, it's common to blame others for every little thing. A true sign of strength is taking responsibility for yourself. In "Startin' with Me," Jake Owen comes to a very yogic resolution to dealing with anger:
If I had a dime for half the things I did that didn't make no sense at allI'd be living a little higher on the hogIf only I'd have known That later on down the road I'd look back and not like what I seeI'd have changed a lot of thingsStartin' with me
3. Practice feeling without reacting
The 6,000-year old practice of yoga teaches that when you are in challenging situations, you make the best decisions in even the worst of situations if you just breathe and relax. Try it: Lift your arms to the sides of your body and hold them so you form a letter "T." Allow your arms to stay parallel to the ground for 2, 3, even 4 minutes. When your shoulders start to burn, notice that by breathing and relaxing, you gain more endurance. There's very little that physical strength, hustle, and effort can do you for you in this situation. As a famous Zen proverb reads: "Nothing on earth can overcome an absolutely nonresistant person."

Take Care About Your Health......

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
1. No Breakfast ;
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating;
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking ;
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption;
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution;
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation;
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered;
while sleepingSleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness ;
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts;
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely ;
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store. We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."

Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm :
is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am : is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3 am:
detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5 am :
detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am:
detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9am :
absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that,
midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Footprints in the sand....

Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path ofhis life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the verylowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,I love you and I would never leave you.During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

I Like This Email....Shame on Indian Media....

A MUST READ...

Dear Editors of HT, TOI, IndianExpress and The Hindu, I got the mail below from a friend of mine and following the unwritten code of conduct, I am forwarding it to my friends but all efforts of people who have been forwarding this mail would go waste if this mail doesn't reach YOU......Something to think about..!!

Shame on Indian Media???

Really what a shame...By the time u guys read this news, the body of Major Manish Pitambare, who was shot dead at Anantnag, would have been cremated with full military honors. On Tuesday, this news swept across all the news channels 'Sanjay Dutt relieved by court'. 'Sirf Munna not a bhai' '13 saal ka vanvaas khatam' 'although found guilty for possession of armory, Sanjay can breath sigh of relief as all the TADA charges against him are withdrawn' Then many personalities like Salman Khan said 'He is a good person. We knew he will come out clean'. Mr Big B said "Dutt's family and our family have relations for years he's a good kid. He is like elder brother to Abhishek". His sister Priya Dutt said "we can sleep well tonight. It's a great relief" In other news, Parliament was mad at Indian team for performing bad; Greg Chappell said something; Shah Rukh Khan replaces Amitabh in KBC and other such stuff. But most of the emphasis was given on Sanjay Dutt's "phoenix like" comeback from the ashes of terrorist charges. Surfing through the channels, one news on BBC startled me. It read "Hisbul Mujahidin's most wanted terrorist 'Sohel Faisal' killed in Anantnag , India . Indian Major leading the operation lost his life in the process. Four others are injured.
It was past midnight , I started visiting the stupid Indian channels, but Sanjay Dutt was still ruling. They were telling how Sanjay pleaded to the court saying 'I'm the sole bread earner for my family', 'I have a daughter who is studying in US' and so on. Then they showed how Sanjay was not wearing his lucky blue shirt while he was hearing the verdict and also how he went to every temple and prayed for the last few months. A suspect in Mumbai bomb blasts, convicted under armory act...was being transformed into a hero. Sure Sanjay Dutt has a daughter; Sure he did not do any terrorist activity. Possessing an AK47 is considered too elementary in terrorist community and also one who possesses an AK47 has a right to possess a pistol so that again is not such a big crime; Sure Sanjay Dutt went to all the temples; Sure he did a lot of Gandhigiri but then........ ... Major Manish H Pitambare got the information from his sources about the terrorists' whereabouts. Wasting no time he attacked the camp, killed Hisbul Mujahidin's supremo and in the process lost his life to the bullets fired from an AK47. He is survived by a wife and daughter (just like Sanjay Dutt) who's only 18 months old. Major Manish never said 'I have a daughter' before he took the decision to attack the terrorists in the darkest of nights. He never thought about having a family and he being the bread earner. No news channel covered this since they were too busy hyping a former drug addict, a suspect who's linked to bomb blasts which killed hundreds. Their aim was to show how he defied the TADA charges and they were so successful that his conviction in possession of armory had no meaning. They also concluded that his parents in heaven must be happy and proud of him. Parents of Major Manish are still living and they have to live rest of their lives without their beloved son. His daughter won't ever see her daddy again.
So guys, please forward this message around so that the media knows which news to give importance, as it is a shame for us since this Army Major's death news was given by a foreign TV channel!!! If you believe in it, don't feel shy in forwarding it.

Health Time...Feel Energetic

It is clichéd, but true: you are what you eat!
How we look, how we feel, how healthy we are, how we perform our daily tasks -- it all narrows down to what we eat.
How easy it would be if we knew which foods could be beneficial to us -- to help us feel energetic, to help us improve our health, to help us in our battle against body fat.

Get Ahead gives you a guide -- in two parts -- as to what we consider the ten most beneficial foods.
These foods are rated on the basis of the health benefits they provide, the fibre content, their vitamin and mineral content as well as low fat and caloric content.
Note: These foods work best when combined with an all round healthy diet and regular exercise regimen.
1. Oatmeal
Touted as the breakfast of athletes all around the world, this mushy, gushy delicious grain can be the first addition you could make to your new and healthy diet and lifestyle change.
Unlike other breakfast cereals that are loaded with sugar and stripped of all fibre, which give you a sugar-loaded burst of energy and then drop drastically, allowing it to drop.
Oats are slow to digest and thus provide you a steady sustained flow of energy to take you through the first few hours of the day.
Oatmeal is also loaded with fibre, especially the soluble kind, and has thus been proven to be invaluable in the battle against high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Mix it with milk, fruit, yoghurt or nuts; have it hot or cold; use it in cooking -- just make sure to make this heart healthy food a part of your daily diet.

2. Tomatoes
Our tiny little red friends are a lot more powerful and beneficial to us than we could ever imagine.
Tomatoes contain a carotenoid (a class of highly unsaturated yellow to red pigments occurring in plants), called lycopene.
Not only has this powerful carotenoid been proven to improve immunity as well as reduce the risk of developing heart attacks, it has also been proven, believe it or not, to reduce the risk of cancers of the prostate, breast, lung, stomach, pancreas, colon, esophagus, mouth and cervix!
While we realise that there are just so many raw tomatoes that we can stomach, here is where it gets more interesting.
Research shows that lycopene in tomatoes can be absorbed more efficiently by the body if processed into sauce, paste and ketchup, thus making the tomato one of the few vegetables that is actually more beneficial in its processed or cooked form than when its raw.

3. Almonds
Nuts have always managed to get a bad rap due to their high caloric content.
Thus, they are often overlooked for their fibre and protein content as well as being an important source of healthy unsaturated fats and numerous beneficial minerals and vitamins.
While all nuts do have their benefits, if I had to name just one as the most beneficial, it would have to be almonds.
These tasty, crunchy treats are sprinkled into cereals, salads, ice cream as well as being a calming cooling airline snack we rely on to curb our hunger during those long flights.
Little do we realise that not only do almonds provide taste and texture to foods, they also provide more complete nutrition in one handful than you can imagine.
Just 28 grams (around 23 almonds) provide us with 9 grams of mono-unsaturated fatty acid, 6 grams of muscle building protein, 3 grams of fiber, 200 mg of potassium, 65 mg of bone strengthening calcium as well as a hearty dose of vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorous, copper, zinc and riboflavin.
As with most other foods, moderation is important.
Nuts do have a high caloric content and it is so very easy to inhale an entire box of these tasty crunchy characters without a thought!

4. Fish
Who would have thought that our smelly friends from the sea could prove to be one of the most beneficial foods in the world?
When we were younger, fish was inexplicably considered 'brain food'.
Studies in later years concluded that the omega 3 fatty acids were what actually made fish brain food, as well as making it one of the most beneficial foods as far as heart health, lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels and treating psychiatric illnesses, like depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, were considered.
Recent studies have also shown benefits of omega 3 fatty acids for people suffering from arthritis and other joint conditions.
Let us not forget the protein punch that fish provides us with, as well as delicious taste whether we decide to order it soaked in butter and garlic or whether we decide to go healthy and have it steamed or grilled.
As every fish has its own unique taste and beneficial characteristics, mackerel and salmon lead as far as omega 3 fatty acid content goes.

5. Milk
Something our mothers always told us to drink before we left our home, when we were kids.
Think she had any idea that milk is one of the highest quality sources of whole food protein, with a biological value second only to eggs?
And let's not forget the calcium content that milk provides us with, preventing our bones from becoming weak and hollow and developing osteoporosis later in life.
Recent studies have also proved that calcium could be beneficial in our battle against body fat.
Just make sure to have low fat or fat free milk, which provides us with the same important nutrients minus the fat and the cholesterol.
So let's thank our mommies for nagging us all those years and drink away to a lean muscular physique!
PS: Please check that you are not lactose intolerant before you drink milk.

6. Apple
Every fruit has its benefits to the human body.
Bananas are rich in heart-healthy potassium, strawberries rich in disease-fighting antioxidants, watermelon is rich in heart-healthy and cancer-preventing lycopene, etc.
But we have decided to name the apple as the fruit of our choice due its high antioxidant and fibre content, its taste, its ability to fill a person as well as its extremely low caloric content.
Apples are often overlooked due to the lack of vitamin C when compared to fruits like oranges.
But recent research has indicated that apples have more antioxidant activity than would be expected from their vitamin C content.
This antioxidant activity is thought to come from other natural substances in apples, collectively called phytochemicals.
The nutritious content of the apple is very favourable: a medium sized apple contains a mere 80 calories, with no fat or cholesterol content as well as a whopping 5 grams of fibre.
Apples are especially rich in pectin fibre, associated with helping keep blood cholesterol levels in balance as well as helping to control appetite levels, thus aiding us in our battle against overeating.

7. Tea
Everyone has their choice of beverage they rely on to perk them up when their energy levels run low, to relax them when the stress just gets too much, or that they can simply enjoy because of its fine taste.
Unfortunately, most people go for sugary soft drinks or creamy café lattes.
It's time to switch. To tea!
It is tasty, contains some caffeine to perk you, but not too much that it leaves you jittery. It also provides a cupful of antioxidants called flavonoids, that may help prevent cholesterol-damaging arteries.
Recent research also suggests that this popular beverage can help reduce the risk of cancer, heart attack and Parkinson's disease.
While most teas are good for you, green tea contains the highest amount of flavonoids, making it an extremely potent antioxidant.
Epigallocatechin Gallate (ECGC), the green tea extract, is also known for its fat-burning benefits.
Another very interesting bit of information is that green tea is also known to suppress foul breath caused by certain foods.

8. Garlic
It was worshipped by the ancient Egyptians, chewed on by Greek Olympian athletes.
It aids in keeping the heart healthy, wards off coughs and colds, reduces cholesterol and triglycerides, controls high blood pressure, and chases away vampires and witches (as well as a couple of friends and family members)!
Yep, this aptly nicknamed 'stinking rose' has a number of benefits, and not just to make Italian dishes taste so good.

9. Kidney beans
We highly recommend you add beans to you meal plan.
Beans are high in fibre, both insoluble as well as the all-important, cholesterol-lowering soluble kind.
Their high fibre content also slows down the digestion, thus providing a steady flow of energy as well as keeps you feeling more satiated at the end of the meal.
They are also a good source of a host of vitamins and minerals.
Why kidney beans? Because of their delicious taste and the fact that they are an excellent source of iron, folate as well as magnesium.
Red kidney beans lead the way as far as antioxidant content in beans go.
Add them to soups or salads, use them in your curries, use them in your sabzis whatever you do, don't miss out on this nutritional powerhouse.
But make sure you add them gradually to your meal plan.

10. Water
Maybe it isn't the best choice to include in a list of 'foods', but it is so very, very important to include water at all times of the day!
Water is a fundamental part of our lives. It is easy to forget how completely we depend on it.
Water has been ranked by experts as second only to oxygen as essential for life. The average adult body has 55 to 75 percent water.
Two-thirds of our body weight is water. A human embryo is more than 80 percent water. A newborn baby is 74 percent water.
The water you drink literally becomes you!
The functions of water go far beyond just hydration. They include aiding digestion, weight loss, battling water retention, regulating body temperature, aiding the kidney in excretion, lubricating our joints, the list goes on and on

DRINKING WARM WATER AFTER MEALS

Great tip of the day.

Dear All,
Please read this and forward it to as many people as you can. Heart Attacks and drinking warm water.... this is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks. This makes sense. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals...not cold water...maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!!

Nothing to lose, everything to gain... for those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will Solidify the oily Stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down thedigestion.

Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

· A serious note about heart attacks: You should know that not every heart attack Symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.
The more we know the better chance we could survive...

· A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this...It could save your life!!

Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about*
